 ABOUT US

It all started back in 2007 when Molly forgot to give to the offering one week during Sunday School. That week, the offering was going to Nothing But Nets, an organization that provides and distributes mosquito nets to Western Africa. These nets allow people protection at night from the nocturnal mosquitoes that carry the malaria virus. Molly felt bad for not donating that week, so she decided to raise money a different way, in the form of a lemonade stand.
That same year, Logan, who was turning seven, didn't ask for any presents for his birthday. Instead he asked for donations to a worthy cause. The cause he and his mom chose was Nothing But Nets.
Logan and Molly's moms had been friends for a while, so when Molly heard that Logan was interested in fighting malaria also, she asked him to be partner in the lemonade stand.
Their first lemonade stand was held in 2008 during the East Ohio Annual Conference in Lakeside, Ohio. Logan and Molly earned around $600 that day. The $600 turned into $1800 when both Molly's and Logan's grandparents agreed to matched their total. After seeing how much they could earn in just one day, Logan and Molly decided to make the lemonade stand an annual event. The charity was switched to Imagine No Malaria a couple years later because of their affiliation with the Methodist Church. INM is a similar organization to Nothing But Nets and provides bednets, as well as education, to the people of West Africa.
After holding a lemonade stand one day a year for ten years, Logan and Molly came to the conclusion that it was time for their long-time charity project to come to an end. Not being as cute as they used to be, Molly and Logan decided that the ten year mark was a good place to stop because of college being just around the corner.
As of the year 2017, with help from their grandparents, their home churches, their church districts, and many other churches, Molly and Logan have met and exceeded their goal with a final total of $101,000 over ten years! With nets costing $10, they have provided around 10,100 families with life-saving protection. Molly and Logan are now in their Junior year of high school. Their younger brothers, Evan and Daniel, who helped with the lemonade stand every year they could, are now in 7th grade.
